Other help with English: Preparation of job applications and interviews, review of research papers or other written documents, and also preparation for driving test.

The ESL programs at Ridgeland Community Church are associated with Literacy Volunteers of Rochester, where many of our tutors receive training in teaching English to speakers of other languages.

All language guides are native English speakers who volunteer their time for the pleasure of meeting new friends, assisting and enhancing the experience of visitors and immigrants in our area.

Participants meet in small groups according to their needs and language goals. The content is determined by the students and their teachers to meet the goals. A lending library of books, workbooks, tapes and videos is available to all.
