Cross-Cultural Ministry
Reaching out to international visitors and immigrants associated with Rochester Institute of Technology, the University of Rochester and our surrounding community, Ridgeland Community Church provides the following programs to welcome, encourage, assist and enrich the experience of guests from around the world.
ENGLISH CONVERSATION GROUPS (ESL)
English Conversation Groups are held each week on Thursday evening from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. at Ridgeland Community Church, 260 Beckwith Road (between Bailey and Lehigh Station Roads, near RIT). Summer English Conversation Nights will be held on June 12 and 26, July 17, and August 14 and 28, 2008. For other summer activities, see Special Events.
LADIES EXCHANGE & KIDS KORNER
While international and American ladies share conversation, culture, and cuisine, their children enjoy loving care and fun activities in Kids Korner. All this takes place at Ridgeland Community Church on Friday mornings, 9:30-11:30 a.m. View Ladies Exchange page for specific dates and activities.
INTERNATIONAL BIBLE STUDY
Bible studies, especially designed for speakers of other languages, are offered at Ridgeland Community Church as follows:
* Sundays at 11:30 a.m., following the morning worship services
* Wednesdays, 9:00-11:00 a.m.
* Other times and locations may be arranged
