Ladies Exchange & Kids Korner
All meetings take place on selected Friday mornings, 9:15 - 11:30 A.M. at Ridgeland Community Church, 260 Beckwith Road (between Bailey and Lehigh Station Roads; near RIT). American and International women and children come together to share culture, conversation, foods, crafts, friendship and more.
Fall Sessions 2010 will be held on October 1, 15, & 29; November 5 & 19 and December 10. Check back after September 15 for a detailed list of activities.
Past programs have included baking apple pies, decorating cakes, preparing holiday meals, sharing wedding customs, cooking weird vegetables or winter squash, and outdoor trips to local farm markets or parks.
Cost: a donation of $4.00 per person for each session pays for all foods and supplies.
Children; age 2-5, enjoy guided pre-school play or activities; babies receive loving care in the nursery. The children's areas are next door to the activity rooms for mothers. Children are welcome to remain with their Moms. We just want everyone to feel comfortable, welcome and loved.
Transportation may be arranged from U of R, RIT, MCC, Rustic Village or other nearby areas.
