Ministry Core Values

Relationships – Personal Compassion

We believe that our love for each other should permeate the life of our church. As we abide in Christ, we will bear fruit in service to others. Individuals need to reach out to one another with the compassionate interest of Christ, both within the body and in our neighborhoods. Therefore, we believe that our church should function as a united community with members who are actively involved in identifying and developing their spiritual gifts.

Inspiring Leadership

We believe that those with the gift of leadership should lead our church and each one of our ministries.

To enhance the process of discipleship, people need relationships that provide encouragement and accountability at a personal level. We encourage committed membership in the body and seek to facilitate one-on-one and small group interactions. We believe that lifestyle changes happen best in small groups.

Growth in Christ

Just as all healthy living organisms grow and mature, so also all healthy Christ followers grow and mature. Although God causes the growth to occur, it is up to us to provide a healthy environment in which to grow. What we look at, what we listen to, how we spend our time and money, and how much time we spend with God both alone and with other Christ followers will all contribute to a rich or a poor environment for growth.

Evangelism – Communicating the Good News of Jesus Christ

We believe that lost people matter to God, and ought to matter to us. Therefore, the good news of salvation in Christ must be proclaimed both in our own local communities and through missions around the world. The unchanging message needs to be communicated in creative ways that address the needs of people.

Life Changing Bible Teaching

We believe that biblical teaching is a stimulus for lifestyle changes in us and in our church. Therefore, our church will remain true to the foundations of the faith while presenting them in a way that can be understood by our culture. The Bible should be carefully and consistently taught with a view to personal application at all stages of life. God.s Word is foundational to worship, fellowship, and evangelism.

Age Appropriate Ministry & Unity

We seek to minister sensitively to the unique needs of each generation and build bridges of understanding and learning between the generations.

Necessity of Prayer

Lives can only be changed by the power of God appropriated through prayer. We want to give a central place to prayer in our personal devotional lives and in the life of the church.

Dynamic Christian Living

We believe that full devotion to Christ is normal for every believer. Christ followers should exhibit a genuine lifestyle evidenced by honesty and openness, yearning for continuous spiritual growth. God calls each believer to a personal walk with Him. This begins with personal faith in Christ that shows itself in a deep repentance from sin, death to self-will, and humble brokenness before God. Wisdom for living in Christ is provided by the Word of God.
