Asian Pastors / Church Planters

Ridgeland Community Church currently supports two pastors in Asia. These pastors are missionaries to villages and areas in their own country that have not had the gospel brought to them. They will begin by staying in a home and sharing the good news of Jesus with the family and neighbors who are interested. Over time, a home church will be established under the direction of a local member. The church planter will become an overseer of various local churches.

These pastors, who have been trained in a Bible School, know the language and culture of the people they are working with. It is much more economical to support indigenous pastors, especially in countries where foreign missionaries are not welcomed.
